Sector desks

Fifteen sectors. Each one worked by its own desk.

Every deal and introduction at SPG runs through the desk for its sector: a trusted sector lead with a working group of practitioners who know the market, supported by an SPG administrator who follows every opportunity so nothing waits.

How a desk works

From first contact to outcome, with one desk accountable.

  1. 1

    Intake

Deals and requests arrive through the website and the member network. For every deal, the team receives a structured brief prepared with AI.

  2. 2

    Qualification

The sector lead checks the fit, the stage and the people involved, and asks for what is missing before anything moves.

  3. 3

    Connection

With the company’s consent, the desk connects the right counterparts inside SPG and across its network.

  4. 4

    Follow-through

The administrator tracks every opportunity to an outcome. Each introduction is recorded, and contributions are recognised under written agreements.

Apply to join a sector desk

Required field

What a desk asks of its people

  • 1

    Trust and discretion

Every company that brings a deal to SPG is treated in confidence.

  • 2

    Everything through SPG

Opportunities are worked through the desk, so every introduction is recorded and everyone who contributes is recognised.

  • 3

    A clear next step

Each opportunity has an owner and a next action, and the administrator makes sure nothing waits.

Before you apply

There is no fee to join a desk. Each appointment is reviewed after six months against what was agreed with the sector lead, such as members introduced, deals registered or work delivered. Advisers who contribute continue free of charge; others may take a paid membership or step back. Advisers have no vote, equity or authority to commit SPG.

Any role on a sector desk, and how contributions are recognised, follows a separate written agreement. Sending this form does not create a role or a right to payment.

Have a deal for one of the desks?

Send the outline in a few minutes. The deal desk reviews it with the lead for its sector and replies with the next step.
