Privacy notice.
How Strategic Partner Group handles the information you share through this website.
What we collect
Through the inquiry, matchmaking, funding-readiness, directory listing, regional access, referral and adviser forms we collect the details you enter: name, role, organisation, business email, country, the pathway, gateway, vertical or pairing you select, your requirement, any optional budget range and timeframe, and your preferred contact method. Each submission is given a reference number. The forms never ask for identity documents, bank statements, investment terms, patient information or confidential transaction files. With each form we also record the campaign link that brought you to the site, if there was one, and the page you arrived on, so SPG can see which channels work. Membership payments are processed by SPG's membership portal and its payment provider; this website does not collect or store card details.
How we use it
To acknowledge and respond to your inquiry, to assign a named owner within SPG, to assess relevance and propose a basis for engagement, and, where you have agreed, to send you programme terms. Referral submissions are recorded for attribution. Newsletters and event invitations are sent only if you tick the separate box for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell personal information.
Who sees it
SPG's leadership and the advisers or producers assigned to your matter, under confidentiality. Directory listings are published only with the listed party's approval. Form submissions are stored with our website hosting provider and emailed to the team through SPG's own Microsoft 365 mailbox. When you send a deal outline, an AI model reached through our hosting provider processes it only to prepare an internal summary for the SPG team; the summary is not sent to anyone else and makes no decisions. Documents attached to a deal outline are stored privately with our hosting provider, seen only by the SPG deal desk, read by the AI model for the internal summary, and deleted within a day if the outline is never sent. If your company publishes a Deal Room listing, its documents are stored privately with our hosting provider, the public sees only the summary the company approved, and documents are shared only with people the company approves; when you ask for access to a listing, your details and message go to that company and to the SPG team, and the documents you open are recorded for the company. An AI model may also draft a listing summary from the company's documents for the company to edit. Introductions to third parties are made only with your consent, and a funding-readiness request is shared with an authorised partner only after you agree.
Talk to SPG (the SPG Navigator)
Talk to SPG is an AI guide. What you type or say is sent to SPG's server and processed by an open-weight AI model reached through our hosting provider, only to answer you, suggest SPG desks, programmes and members, and fill in an SPG form for you. If you ask for a worldwide search, a short description of your business is sent to an AI web search service to find public opportunities; those results come from the open web and are not checked by SPG. If you add a company document, such as a trade licence or company profile, an AI model reached through our hosting provider reads it once to take your company details from it; the file is not kept, and personal identity numbers and bank or card details are never taken from it. SPG does not store the conversation. It is kept in your browser for the current tab only and disappears when you close it or press Start a new conversation. SPG receives your details only when you send a form yourself; a form the Navigator filled in carries a short AI summary of your conversation, which you can remove before sending. Voice input uses your browser's own speech recognition, and some browsers send the audio to their maker for this (for example Google in Chrome; Apple in Safari); SPG never receives a recording. Answers read aloud are spoken in SPG's AI voice: the text of SPG's answer (never your voice or your details) is sent to ElevenLabs to create the audio, which SPG does not store; if it is not available, your device's own voice reads the answer. If you start a live conversation, your voice is streamed to ElevenLabs, SPG's voice provider, so the guide can understand you and answer as you speak; the guide is an AI agent run by ElevenLabs for SPG. A written transcript of a live conversation is kept in SPG's ElevenLabs account for 30 days so SPG can improve the guide, and is then deleted; no recording of your voice is kept. During the call, the guide uses the same SPG matching, worldwide search and form filling described above, and never sends a form for you. The guide's face is an AI-generated presenter, not a real person. If you choose to continue on WhatsApp, a message you can edit opens in WhatsApp and is sent only when you send it.
Investor profiles and mandates
When an investment firm lists with SPG at /investors/join/, SPG keeps its profile, its investment mandate and the contact details of the person who sent it, to review the profile, match the mandate against deals the SPG deal desk has accepted and contact the firm about matches. If the firm chooses to be listed, its profile (the firm, its focus, its record described in words and the people it chose to show) is published in the Investor Directory after review; contact details, the declared investor status and private notes are never published. A company’s details reach an investor only with the company’s consent, and an investor’s details reach a company only with the investor’s consent. The firm can ask for its profile to be changed or removed at any time by writing to the team with its reference.
When you message SPG on WhatsApp, the SPG team may use an AI assistant to prepare replies, and SPG's WhatsApp Business number, once it is in use, may answer you with the same AI guide, which tells you it is an AI and passes you to the team when needed. Messages are handled through WhatsApp's business service provided by Meta, kept by SPG for up to 30 days to continue the conversation, and used only to answer you.
Sister Organisations and their members
Chambers of commerce, business clubs, associations and similar organisations (SPG Sister Organisations) may give SPG the business contact details of their members (name, company, role, business email and, where they choose, country, sector, phone and website), so that SPG can send those members invitations that the organisation has approved, under the organisation's name. Before any list is used, the organisation confirms that it may share these details for this purpose. SPG uses them only for these invitations and to credit the organisation for members who come through it; SPG never sells or shares them and never adds them to any other mailing list. To prepare a list, column headings and a few sample values, with email addresses and phone numbers partly masked, may be read by an AI model through the zero-data-retention service described above. Every invitation contains an unsubscribe link: anyone who unsubscribes is never invited again by SPG on behalf of any organisation, and SPG keeps only a one-way code of the address to make sure of this. When a member opens their personal invitation link, SPG records that the link was opened and tells the organisation only in aggregate; SPG shares a member's own progress with the organisation only with that member's consent. The organisation can remove members, or its whole list, at any time, and SPG deletes a list when the organisation leaves the programme.
Retention and your rights
Inquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your matter and to meet record-keeping obligations. You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw consent by writing to samjakobs@strategicpartnergroup.com.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The campaign reference described above is held in your browser for the current session only. If you arrive through a partner's referral link or a Sister Organisation's page, the referral code (and, for a Sister Organisation, its name) is remembered in your browser for 90 days so it can be filled in on SPG forms and the AI guide can welcome you as one of its members; it is sent to SPG only when you send a form or a message. Aggregated, cookie-free traffic statistics may be used to improve the site.
This notice describes the website's intended handling of personal information and should be reviewed by SPG's counsel before publication, together with any regional requirements that apply to the regions SPG serves.
