• Established AMYRA Biotech AG and achieved human clinical proof-of-concept for a first-in-class oral enzyme therapeutics platform targeting inflammatory gastrointestinal and degenerative disorders. 
• Founded and scaled multiple biotechnology and pharmaceutical ventures, advancing innovative therapies from scientific concept through clinical validation and commercialization. 
• Co-founded ARES Life Sciences, a healthcare-focused private-equity fund, while building an extensive international network of institutional investors, family offices, venture-capital firms, and strategic industry partners.
• Developed and commercialized Circadin™, the first approved chronobiological treatment for primary insomnia, guiding it from compound identification through regulatory approval and strategic divestiture. 
• Founded EsoCap AG and advanced its proprietary drug-device platform for esophageal diseases through a successful Phase II clinical trial and industrial-scale process development. 
• Founded CanVirex AG to pioneer next-generation engineered oncolytic viruses for cancer treatment and vaccination, in collaboration with Germany’s DKFZ and National Center for Tumor Diseases. 
• Founded and led XYTIS, advancing two novel central nervous system compounds through Phase II clinical programs in the United States and Switzerland before transitioning the company to U.S. venture-capital stewardship. 
• Served as Senior Vice President of Global R&D, Licensing and Regulatory Affairs at Novartis, directing worldwide strategy across its consumer health and nutrition portfolio.
